Grab Chatbot Personal Project, 2017

Overview

According to a McKinsey report, artificial intelligence is poised for digital disruption, and companies need to start preparing for it now. Chatbots are an important component of AI technologies. I see more and more interest to integrate chatbots into lots of business processes. However, chatbots are not silver-bullet solutions, but I wanted to explore how chat bots can be used in a ride booking app.

Project Goals

Determine the optimal approach and interaction model to set expectation, and ease first-time user frustration and confusion during the booking process by:


1. Facilitating a dialogue and communication between users and drivers

2. Reducing bounce (rate) is the key to conversion optimization

3. Making sure users can get the answers they want fast
